Industrial Craft 2 Problem(s)

I was recently trying to make a metal roller from Industrial Craft 2 when I found a major problem in the system...

In order to make a metal roller you need an advanced machine casing from Industrial Craft 2.


It is easy to obtain most of the things in the advanced machine casing, but you need refined iron plates, and in order to obtain refined iron plates you either need a metal cutter, which also requires an advanced machine casing, or a metal roller.



Now you're starting to see the problem. In order to make an advanced machine casing, you need refined iron plates.


And you need an advanced machine casing to make the metal cutter and metal roller, therefore it is impossible to obtain refined iron plates ergo it is impossible to obtain advanced machine blocks ergo it is impossible to obtain metal cutters, metal rollers, molecular transformers, induction furnaces, mass fabricators, terraformers, thermal centrifuges, ore washing plants, pattern storages, teleporters, solar distillers, and fluid distributors as long as I haven't missed an embarrasingly obvious solution to this problem.

My guess at this problem is that the recipe was changed, from the original which I found on the IC2 wiki.

This recipe instead uses basic machine blocks which only require refined iron.

Hopefully this can be resolved.
